Set on a foothills site above Denver, this design is organized around a continuous porch that links all of the main floor public spaces.  With an orientation west of south, the owners are particularly pleased with the reduction in glare and excess heat that the extensive porch roof provides.  This classic mountain home employs structural truss work, a massive stone fireplace separating the living and dining rooms and expressed wood detailing throughout.  A Porte Cochere at the entry introduces the truss design which is repeated again in the great room.
