Though only thirty years old, this home had aged poorly. Occupying a breathtaking position, this site promised forty-mile views over Baseline Reservoir, to the town of Boulder and the foothills beyond. The structure was stripped to the sheathing and the interior was gutted before rebuilding. In addition to all new interiors, a master suite and three-car garage were added. As the client had assembled a collection of Asian art and handcrafts, the interiors were designed with a minimalist, oriental feel.
